Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes. All customers are required to pay a refundable security deposit before storing. The amount is based on the size of the storage you use. The deposit is fully refundable provided there are no recoverable damage costs.

Do you charge access fees?

Access during our opening hours is free of charge. You can come and go as often as you need with no additional cost. Our working hours are 7:00 to 21:00 hours 7 days a week.

How do I cancel my reservation?

Just contact the Orange Self Storage unit you have reserved at directly

Am I allowed to take my pet in with me when I visit my room?

No pets of any kind are allowed in the storage area, flexi offices or car park. Please keep pets safely in your vehicle at all times. The only exception to this would be guide dogs for the disabled.

Are Orange stores open at weekends?

Yes. You can access your storage unit over the weekends. No. For security reasons access to our facilities is very limited and only permitted to customers who are loading and unloading into their storage areas. However some stores do offer car parking spaces to rent for longer periods of time, for further details please contact your local store.

Can someone else store items for me / Can I store someone else items?

Yes. Provided the goods are included in the insurance inventory and you have been given irrevocable authority to store the goods in your storage room on behalf of the owner. Likewise, you are responsible for allowing anyone else access to your room on your behalf. These persons must be listed amongst the authorised persons on your account. This can be done prior to becoming a customer via check-in online or directly with your store

Who has access to my room?

Only those authorised persons who you have given permission to and have indicated on your account will have access to your room. You can give someone access to your room, without having access to your account management. You are responsible for giving them your access codes and padlock key / combination number.

How much notice needs to be given before I move out?

All contracts are normally valid for a month and can be mutually extended. If you would like to exist you will need to give us a 10 days notice.

What forms of payments do you accept?

We accept Cheques, DD, Online Transfers, Payments through Credit Cards

Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?

We do not allow storage of gold, silver, liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item that you would like to store.

What kind of security does Orange storage offer?

Orange offiers multiple levels of security to protect your belongings. Levels of security can range from 24×7 Security, Bio-metric controlled access to storage rooms, and may also include round the clock CCTV video monitoring, perimeter fencing and intercom systems

Is there any insurance guarantee for material stored?

Our Company helps you obtain Comprehensive insurance policy covering all risks from a reputed Insurance company

Why should I opt for a safe deposit locker with you?

Safe deposit locker is located in a vault, which is built in accordance with the Reserve Bank of India guidelines, which are followed by all banks in India. It is the safest place to keep your valuables and offers confidentiality and privacy.

What are the formalities involved in booking of a safe deposit locker?

The documents required for renting the locker are enlisted here under. Photo ID : anyone of the following: Ration Card, Voters Card, Passport, Driving license, I. Tax PAN card, Aadhar card. Address proof : anyone of the latest – Electricity bill, Telephone bill, Municipal Tax bill, Aadhar card. Photos : latest passport size photographs of all those who would operate the locker. Rent : 100% Advance payment of rent for the locker as per the period term, including taxes as applicable. Lease and license document to be executed between you and Orange.

How many types of lockers come in standard sizes?

Unlike what is generally offered by banks we offer dual keyed safe deposit lockers and safes in 9 sizes from small one with 4.92 X 6.89 X 19.37 mm size to the largest one with 15.16 X 20.87 X 19.37 size.
NOTE – You may request for special storage services, which can be designed, as per your specific need

What to put in a safe deposit box

You can place all items of value or important documents and information in a safe-deposit-box, for example:
Documents: Marriage Certificate, copies of your Will, Birth Certificate, copy of Passport, Share Certificates and Business Documentation.
Valuable items: jewellery, gold and silver, antiques, paintings, family heirlooms, irreplaceable items.

Is it OK to keep cash in a safe deposit box?

Yes, you may keep cash and currencies in a safety deposit box. In order to insure currencies you need to keep a transaction trail to evidence ownership.

Items that you cannot store within a bank or private safe-deposit-box:

Any living item – including animals and plants; any noxious material; offensive material – including drugs; inflammable or explosive material; firearms; immoral items; perishable items; banned or embargoed items; stolen goods or items stored for the purpose of seeking to put them beyond the reach of law enforcement agencies; money obtained from crime or fraudulent activity.

Are safe deposit lockers safe from fire or other calamities?

Our Locker units design and building of vaults have been built as per specifications laid down by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and are fire, burglary and theft resistant.

Can we put another lock for our locker?

Yes, we provide you with a “Renter’s own lock” at extra cost

What is the procedure if we lose the key?

In case you lose the key, you will have to sign the declaration form & indemnity bond and after we receive the papers, we will intimate the Locker supplier service engineer, who will break open the locker in your presence. A new lock and key will be installed and the new key will be given to you.

In a day how many times can we access the locker?

You can access any number of times.

Is there any "maximum number" restriction for operating the Locker in a year?

No, you can access locker 365 days a year any number of times during working days.

Who can access my safe deposit locker/box?

Only you and the person or persons authorized as per the agreement.

In the case of my death what happens to my locker/box?
